We hate it when our friends become successful.
I know I said I’d only blog like, twice a week, but the past few days have been extremely inspiring for me. Part of it is the fact that it’s winter. Also, my birthday just passed a couple of days ago, and I’m officially an old man (blech, 24 years old). To top it all off, we have a new president, and even though I’m not as far up his ass as everyone else, I respect a man with integrity and put faith in him until he proves otherwise. Plus, my god, the way he looks at his wife. I think it’s amazing.
Now I sound like I’m sucking up. Look, he’s just a man. He’s not God. He’s not going to save this country single-handedly and it’s going to take a lot of time and cooperation from Congress and the Senate. He’s set himself up to make a mistake and get taken down by the media. This is his own fault. But I trust him to make the right decisions, put the country’s well-being first, and get the vehicle moving.
Speaking of, his Cadillac was so fucking fly. I want it.
I headed back home last night to assure that I got to class in time this morning since I missed yesterday. Fortunately, the two teachers I had yesterday excused everyone to find somewhere to watch the inauguration (she probably meant a TV or something; I just decided to go to DC), so there was no qualms.
Also, I found out about a little Paramore/No Doubt tour this past weekend and after I got done jizzing my pants, I realized that I am not going to be a part of it, seeing as how I’m stranded in New York as long as I’m attending school. These are times when I care more about my job than some school. Maybe I’ll drop out.
