Bands that no one should listen to… ever (or bands with no cultural significance whatsoever).
1-5. Forever The Sickest Kids/All Time Low/Four Letter Lie/Select Start/We the Kings/other similar bands
What in the FUCK has music come to when I come within a 5-mile radius of a high school or Hot Topic and kids are listening to the same bullshit, wearing the same headband, and going to the same shows for bands that have all the same members, just with different names. These bands will have absolutely no musical contribution to music, thankfully, but no self-respecting person over the age of 21 will listen to this music, and if they do, they don’t let anyone else know.
6-9. Nickelback/Hinder/Daughtry/BEDlight for BlueEYES
The day Chris Hinderback decides to stop making this post-grunge bullshit, I will be a happy man. Post-grunge was okay in 1995; sadly, the same people who listened to great bands like Alice in Chains and Stone Temple Pilots are now hanging out at Hinder concerts and wearing a Trapt shirt.
10. She Wants Revenge
I’m still not sure if this is a real band or if it’s just a big joke. I’m inclined to believe it’s a joke.
I had something in here about Two Tongues, but I decided to leave my opinion on shitty side projects of good musicians alone.
