A little reflection never hurt anyone.

Sometimes I’m an asshole. This I know. Most of the time, I distract myself with childish things like watching “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” or looking up tabs for songs that are stuck in my head, but other times I take it out on other people who have nothing to do with my bad attitude. This weekend was an example, and I wasted an entire morning of what could have been “us” time in order to have “me” time. “Me” time consisted of watching “The Buddy Holly Story” and laughing at how ridiculous Gary Busey’s face is, but it could have been much more fulfilling if I had been with someone else instead.

It’s been a really ugly weekend. It’s been sticky and rainy and I haven’t showered since Thursday or Friday morning if we’re being honest. I just don’t want to do anything. Well, I can’t. My ankle is all fucked. I found things that could be wrong with Wilson just so I could get out of the house and take him to the vet. But it’s a new day, and I might try to pick him up a nice toy since he chewed the eyeball off of one of his mice.

I registered for summer classes to keep me occupied. Unfortunately, there isn’t much variety during summer sessions, but I’ll do what I can.

PS – thanks to everyone who answered my ad about helping me expand my blog. I’ll get back to all of you about the links you sent me.
